The NC machine tool is equipped with the NC system (digital control system). The NC data can be saved when the machine tool is shut down. Therefore, the NC system has its own standby power supply for power-off protection. When the power of the NC power supply is insufficient, it is necessary to replace the battery in time to ensure that data is not lost. However, because the NC system has the memory function, if the operator is operating the machine tool for processing, and other personnel turn off the main power supply of the machine tool, the machine tool bracket may continue to move forward without control, crash the machine tool and cause accidents. At the same time, because the instantaneous current of the NC power supply is too large, it is easy to burn the machine tool. Therefore, CNC machine tools should be switched on and off in the following order: first turn on the external main power supply, then turn on the main power supply of the machine, and then turn on the NC power supply. Turn off the NC power supply first, then turn off the main power supply of the machine tool, and turn off the external power supply when it is determined that there is no other machine tool to use, which is the opposite of the starting sequence.
